Bohle Pipe Fabrication is engaged in the business of industrial services and environmental management and this policy applies to all of our divisions throughout the organisation. 

Bohle Pipe Fabrication will consistently provide products and services that meet or exceed the requirements and expectations of our customers. We are committed to comply with our quality management system and actively pursue ever-improving quality through programs that improve the effective of the quality management system.


Our mission is to reliably meet service levels and continually improve the appropriateness, efficiency, effectiveness and timeliness of those services. 


Bohle Pipe Fabrication carries out regular management review meetings to establish and review the appropriateness, suitability and purpose of the company's quality objectives. Bohle Pipe Fabrication's overall Quality Objectives are:

Occupational Health and Safety Policy

Bohle Pipe Fabrication aims to maintain a safe, healthy and secure work environment for all employees, temporary staff, contractors, clients and visitors. Achieving this aim is the responsibility of all of us. 

Bohle Pipe Fabrication is committed to developing and maintaining the highest practicable standards of occupational health, safety and welfare management. Through teamwork, and in partnership with employees, clients and contractors, Bohle Pipe Fabrication will work to meet legislative requirements and through continuous improvement achieve best practice standards. 

Through continuous improvement our goal is to create an environment and culture where all employees, and non employees who work with us, can reasonably expect to be free from injury and illness. Through consultation, the sharing of ideas and mutual respect and understanding we will continue to build our culture of safe working practices. 

The Bohle Pipe Fabrication leadership team believes that the safety and welfare of employees, contractors, clients and visitors is a prime business concern. It is an integral part of everyday business operations and our decision making process. 

Bohle Pipe Fabrication are committed to ensuring we, as a company, have sound health, safety and welfare practices in place. These practices are suppoed by local OH&S policies and procedures that provide guidance for us to ensure we meet our OH&S commitments on an ongoing basis. 

Drug & Alcohol Policy

Bohle Pipe Fabrication is committed to proving a safe, health and secure environment for all our employees and for those affected by its operations and activities. The quality of Bohle Pipe Fabrication work will not be compromised by the presence of people under the influence of alcohol, non-prescribed drugs or over the prescribed dose of prescription medication in the workplace. This policy is designed to eliminate the risk inherent in the use or abuse of drugs, alcohol or other substances. Bohle Pipe Fabrication recognises the inherent risks associated with drug use, alcohol abuse, and abuse or misuse of other substances. This policy is designed to eliminate these risks from workplaces and their surrounding environments. 

The policy applies to all direct employees, agency and sub-contractor employees whilst at their workplace and visitors to company premises or workplace. 

The essential requirements of the policy are that:

  • Employees must always be in a fit state to carry our their duties when at work. They must not possess, consume or be under the influence of alcohol or other impairing substances.
  • Bohle Pipe Fabrication has a 'zero tolerance' to drugs and alcohol. Employees are not permitted to work while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • Anyone suspected of being impaired due to alcohol or substance abuse or taking of drugs, legal or illegal, must immediately be removed from the workplace. 
  • Bohle Pipe Fabrication will carry out screening for alcohol and drugs. Testing may be carried out on reasonable suspicion or following an accident or incident. Bohle Pipe Fabrication also reserves the right to introduce random testing where it is considered appropriate. 
  • Provide assistance through a range of preventative, educational and rehabilitative measures to overcome drug and alcohol problems that could impair an employee's ability to work safely. 
  • Encourage our employees to maintain good health and well being through a suitable lifestyle balance. 

In the vent that drugs or alcohol are found on company premises, actions may include an investigation of the matter to attempt to determine who is responsible for the drugs or alcohol or requiring workplace participants to undergo a drug or alcohol test. 

Rehabilitation Policy

Bohle Pipe Fabrication recognises that there are substantial benefits to be gained from rehabilitation principles and practices and is committed to implementing them at this workplace. 

We recognise that the Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 and the Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Regulation 2003 provide the legislative support for workplace rehabilitation activities.

Experience has shown that workplace rehabilitation assists the healing process and helps restore the worker's normal function sooner. Workplace rehabilitation includes early provision of timely and adequate services, including suitable duties programs and aims to"

  • Maintain injured or ill workers at work, or
  • Ensure the worker's earliest possible return to work, or
  • Maximise the worker's independent functioning, and 
  • Provide for durable employment 

This policy has been developed as a joint worker-management agreement. 

Bohle Pipe Fabrication is committed to:

  • Providing a safe and health work environment, but in the event of an injury or an illness, making sure workplace rehabilitation is started as soon as possible in accordance with medical advice
  • Ensuring appropriate suitable duties are made available to injured or ill workers to facilitate their safe and early return to work. These duties must be consistent with current medical certificate and will be time limited
  • Respecting the confidential nature of medical and rehabilitation information and ensuring there will be both verbal and written confidentiality
  • Ensuring all workers are aware that, in the vent of injury or illness, they will be consulted to ensure a structured and safe return to work that will not disadvantage them
  • Complying with legislative obligations with respect to the standard for rehabilitation
  • Adopting a multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation as required
